BOOKING CONDITIONS
- Bookings – all bookings must be made in WRITING. On receipt of either DEPOSIT (holidays and short breaks) or FULL COST (day/evening visits) a firm booking will be made. Confirmation of your booking will be sent (please always include a stamped addressed envelope with your Booking Form). When making interim payments please always use the relevant payment slip supplied with booking confirmation. No reminders will be sent so please make a diary note of payment dates. After the final balance has been received confirmation will be forwarded in the form of a coach boarding card indicating your seat number and pick up point.
- Prices – basic price quoted is based on Twin accommodation. Single Supplement is shown where applicable. Everything included in the price is shown in the holiday/short break/day/evening visit description.
- West Riding Travel reserve the right to alter the cost of any holiday due to exchange rate changes (overseas), dramatic fuel price increases, taxes or other costs beyond their control. These increases will be passed on by way of a surcharge invoice.
- Cancellations – if you cancel your holiday your deposit is non refundable. No refunds are considered after the final balance due date so we strongly recommend you take out personal travel insurance. If West Riding Travel cancel the holiday all monies paid will be refunded.
- Change of Itinerary – West Riding Travel reserve the right to change itineraries or venues for whatever reason. If this is necessary a visit of equal value/interest will be substituted.
- Accidents, Loss or Damage – West Riding Travel will take all reasonable steps to ensure that the independent suppliers of services such as ferry and coach operators, hotels, restaurants and proprietors of country houses and gardens (some of whom may limit their liability) maintain the highest possible standards regarding safety and comfort during your visit. It is regretted that West Riding Travel cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for personal accident, loss or damage to your possessions during holidays, short breaks or day/evening visits. Please ensure you take out personal travel insurance.
- Passengers’ luggage and personal properties taken on all journeys remain at all times and in all circumstances the passengers’ responsibility and sole risk. West Riding Travel or its contracted coach operator will not be responsible for any loss or damage, however caused. Passengers are advised to ensure against this.
- Should a passenger arrive late at a given time or arranged pick up point and miss the coach, the passenger will not have a right to claim against West Riding Travel or its contracted coach operator.
In accordance with the Package Travel, Package Tours Regulations 1992 all passengers booking with West Riding Travel Ltd are fully protected against the loss of all monies paid to us for the holiday (and repatriation if required) due to our insolvency, by way of and Insurance Policy with IGI Insurance Company Limited, Market Square House, St James's Street, N ottingham, NG1 6FG. The cover excludes money paid for flights which must be protected separately.
