Day 1 - On arrival at the hotel you will be welcomed with non-alcoholic hot punch and cakes; after a festive Christmas Eve dinner, a local speaker will introduce you to the town and its surroundings.

Day 2 - After a Buck’s Fizz breakfast enjoy a free day exploring the town, its castle and museum, returning to the hotel for afternoon tea and a mince pie.  A full festive Christmas Day dinner will be served in the evening followed by an old time disco.

Day 3 - Take the opportunity for a lie in before mid-morning brunch.  Afterwards enjoy the lovely black and white villages on a scenic excursion.  Christmas Quiz and light entertainment follow this evening’s dinner.

Day 4 – After breakfast travel through th

e Shropshire Hills into Wales to Llangollen for a canal boat trip.  Visit to Shrewsbury.  Local live entertainment after a New Year’s Eve dinner.

Day 5 – After breakfast depart for a leisurely drive home.
